Ecologic
EcoDry™ is the most ecological type of toilet that exixsts - where every part is designed to make it as smooth, organic and hygienic as possible. The porcelain is necessary to achieve optimal hygien, are more comfortable than plastic and will stay fresh longer.
Urine separation
The urine bowl is flushing for those who have access to water. When you push the button about ca 0,1-0,2 litre water flushes and follow the urine into a receptable or tank of your choice. If there is no access to water, you can flush manually with a cup of water. No chemicals are needed. It is also possible to attach a big can of water to the toilet, to use as flush water.
How it works:
The urine separates from the faeces which makes it possible to achieve odeur free waste and to be able to use the urine as fertilizer. The faeces fall into a barrel of your choice, where it evaporates and dehydrates. If you use a fan (recommended) the faeces becomes completely dry and all bacterias and virus will be killed. A barrel of 80 litre, usually lasts 3 months (normal family). When emptying the barrel it only weighs about 10-20 kg.
